What do we mean by "real"? Well, when you watch your film you'll truly recognise yourselves, not that you acted out scenes under direction, but that every second of your day was genuine.
Watching it back, you will actually feel how you felt on the day. It's an amazingly powerful way to relive your wedding day.

STEVE & YVONNE
We're husband and wife, we met in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 1991 (we both have Biology Degrees) and married in 1996. After leaving behind a decade of corporate life a few years later, we've been working together in the Wedding Industry ever since. Steve is very lucky, and Yvonne is very very patient.
We love weddings, and the secret sauce that makes weddings really special is.... people. Our passion is looking for all the lovely little emotions and special moments that happen on a wedding day. Not having to create them through posing or acting, just knowing when and where to look to find them. It's our super-power, and how we manage to succeed in our goal of creating natural, relaxed and real wedding films. They're also FUN, something sometimes forgotten. Weddings are a ton of fun and we love capturing that!
ABOUT YVONNE
Yvonne - 'The Boss', Camera genius & Admin
Born & raised in Edinburgh, went to James Gillespies’ High School & then Napier Uni to study Biology. Then 6 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry (where I met Steve), & after getting married on a beach in the Caribbean decided to set up my own successful Wedding Planning company arranging weddings for clients from all over the world. As the years went on I became more and more interested in the film side of things & these days I’m full-time with Cherry Tree both filming & in control of Cherry Tree’s admin. Making sure we’re always in the right place at the right time. 5 VOWS Customer Service awards really do show that we achieve our aims of providing truly exemplary service!

Steve - Creative Director, Camera genius & Editor
A countryside upbringing in rural Shropshire, a boys boarding school, then University of Birmingham to do Biology Degree followed by 8 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry. After progressing as far as I wanted, it was time to turn a hobby into a business. 20+ years later, here we are with 5 VOWS Customer Service Awards, two prestigious UK wide IOV Awards and multiple other Independent Awards for our Wedding Films. I think I found my calling and I guess we must be doing something right.

Favourite tipple: Central Otago Pinot Noir (or a cheeky Cote de Provence!)
4 things you can’t live without: My Xbox SeriesX, YouTube Music, Yvonne & Callum.
What did you want to be aged 6?: A drayman (I was brought up in pubs! They delivered beer, what can I say!)

We're really low key on the day, it's about you, your family and friends, it's not about us. You'll not find us shouting directions at you. Maybe a gentle nudge about the best light, but you'll never hear the words "Cut!", "Action!" or "Can you do it again?!". It's just not what we do.
Our films are always individual, no templates, no shot-lists, no scripts, just hand-crafted films with skill and decades of experience. We're telling your wedding story, and yours alone.
